  • Privacy, Data Protection & Information Management: Advising on EU data protection strategies for multinationals, data breach response incidents, cyber-liability issues, responding to and defending enforcement actions taken by the Data Protection Commission, advising on practical means of complying with data protection legislation
  • Technology Contracts & Disputes: Advising on cloud deployment strategies and contracts, high value IT procurements and outsourcings, mediating and litigating IT disputes and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Technology Transactions: Advising technology companies pursuing an aggressive growth strategy from Ireland including advising on fundraisings through to exit, joint ventures, strategic partnerships etc.
  • Technology M&A: Advising on the technology and intellectual property aspects of acquisitions and disposals
  • Intellectual Property: Advising on licensing and transfers of intellectual property rights (including tax effective international IP structures), IP enforcement strategies and actions, resolving IP disputes, advising on high value IP commercialisation projects and other innovative IP exploitation models
  • Digital Regulation: Advising on aspects of the development and the deployment of artificial intelligence, online platforms and intermediaries on compliance with the Digital Services Act, Online Safety and Media Regulation, liability for online content and the Online Safety Code. The group also advises on the regulation of e-Commerce, obligations under the Data Act and forthcoming EU legislation on digital regulation
