We work with Irish and international clients across a range of industries, helping them navigate regulatory frameworks, manage risk and respond to investigations and disputes.

Our expertise
Antitrust, Dawn Raids and Investigations
We support clients on all aspects of Irish and EU competition law as it applies to commercial behaviour, including agreements, pricing, distribution arrangements and online practices. We support clients in managing regulatory risk, responding to information requests and engaging with competition authorities.
We have significant experience advising on investigations, including dawn raids, and assist clients in managing inspections, protecting legal privilege and responding to enforcement actions. We also support clients on compliance programmes, audits and training.
Antitrust Litigation
We represent clients in competition disputes before the Irish courts, including challenges to regulatory decisions and damages actions. Our team advises on all aspects of litigation strategy, from initial case assessment through to trial.
By combining competition law expertise with litigation experience, we support clients in navigating complex disputes involving regulators, competitors and follow-on claims.
Consumer Protection
We advise on Irish and EU consumer protection law, including compliance, regulatory investigations and enforcement. Our work covers areas such as unfair commercial practices, product safety, consumer credit and advertising.
We support clients in managing regulatory engagement and responding to investigations by authorities, including the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
Merger Control and Foreign Direct Investment
Merger control is a core area of our practice. We advise on the notification and clearance of transactions in Ireland and at EU level, including complex and multi-jurisdictional deals.
We also advise on Ireland’s foreign direct investment (FDI) screening regime, supporting clients in assessing whether transactions are in scope, managing notification requirements and engaging with relevant authorities.
Regulated Markets
We advise clients operating in regulated sectors, including telecoms, energy, transport, life sciences, broadcasting and agri-food. Our work covers regulatory compliance, enforcement, investigations and strategic advisory matters.
We combine competition, regulatory and public law expertise to help clients understand and respond to regulatory developments and decisions impacting their business.
State Aid and Subsidies
Our team advises on the application of EU State aid rules and the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation. Our work includes assessing compatibility of public funding, identifying exemptions and managing engagements with the European Commission.
We support both public and private sector clients in structuring funding arrangements and navigating regulatory approval processes.
Trade Law
We advise on EU and international trade law, including customs, tariffs, export controls and sanctions.
We support clients in managing compliance with evolving regulatory regimes and in responding to geopolitical and policy developments affecting trade.
Dawn Raid Response Unit
Global business regulation is increasing to protect consumers and ensure a level playing field. However, enforcement brings challenges for businesses. Unannounced inspections, or “dawn raids”, are a key enforcement tool and can be highly disruptive.
The risk of such inspections has grown as competition authorities intensify enforcement and expand their investigatory powers. In Ireland, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has significantly increased its dawn raid activity in recent years. Understanding how inspections are conducted, and your rights and obligations during them, is critical to managing risk, minimising disruption and protecting your interests.
