Connor practices in the area of corporate law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.  His M&A experience includes both public and private transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations and joint ventures, both domestic and cross border and in various industries.  Connor’s corporate finance experience includes representation of issuers and underwriters in public and private offerings including IPOs and secondary offerings.  He also advises on corporate governance, commercial agreements and inward investments.

  • Chartered Land on the sale of its interests in Dundrum Town Centre, Ilac Centre and Pavilions Shopping Centre to Hammerson and Allianz
  • NTR plc on the demerger of its European wind business
  • Green REIT plc on its acquisition of the Central Park property portfolio
  • Fyffes plc on its proposed merger with Chiquita
  • Green Property on the listing of Green REIT plc and its subsequent capital raising
  • GE, Bank of Scotland plc and various bidders on numerous loan portfolio transactions
  • DIF on the acquisition of various infrastructure assets
  • Cantor Fitzgerald on the acquisition of Dolmen Stockbrokers
  • Northern Rock plc on the sale of its Irish business
  • CRH plc on the acquisition of a controlling interest in a cement business in Ukraine
  • Fyffes plc on the acquisition of interests in businesses throughout South America
  • The National Treasury Management Agency on the transfer of €15.8 billion of deposits and assets from (i) Irish Nationwide Building Society to Irish Life & Permanent plc (€3.6 billion) and (ii) from Anglo Irish Bank Corporation Limited to Allied Irish Banks plc (€12.2 billion).
  • The Department of Finance on aspects of its €3.5 billion recapitalisation of the Bank of Ireland and on other issues relating to certain financial institutions in Ireland
  • Mars Inc. on the Irish aspects of its acquisition of Wrigley
  • MasterCard on its acquisition of Orbiscom Limited (circa US$100 million)
