Christopher is a senior associate in the Corporate and M&A Group, specialising in public and private M&A, equity capital markets transactions, venture capital, corporate governance and securities law.

Christopher advises international and domestic companies on all aspects of corporate law and governance. He has advised on some of the most high-profile corporate transactions in recent years, including public takeovers, private M&A, VC financing rounds, rights issues, placings and the corporate aspects of bankruptcy and US Chapter 11 proceedings. Christopher also advises on corporate governance and securities law issues for listed companies.

  • Advising a group of the first lien creditors of Endo International plc on Endo’s restructuring and corporate aspects of its US Chapter 11 proceedings
  • Advised Flutter Entertainment on its acquisition of Sisal S.p.A
  • Advised Tiger Global on its investments in Workvivo, Scalapay and Flipdish
  • Advised Flutter Entertainment plc on its recommended all-share acquisition of The Stars Group, Inc. at an aggregate transaction value of £10 billion to create the largest online betting and gaming operator globally by revenue
  • Advised Flutter Entertainment on its May 2020 £812 million share placing
  • Advised CRH plc and Flutter Entertainment plc on their respective share buyback programmes
  • Advised Greencore plc (London) on its £90 million share placing
  • Advised Cubic Telecom on funding by Act Venture Capital, the European Investment Bank, the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and other strategic investors
  • Advised Mallinckrodt on its October 2020 restructuring and Chapter 11 proceedings exited in June 2022
  • Advised Mediahuis on its successful recommended offer for Independent News and Media plc
