By June 2026, Irish employers will face new legal obligations around pay transparency, job categorisation, access to pay information and gender pay gap reporting, with real compliance and industrial relations risks for those who are unprepared.
On Tuesday 24 February, Sarah Faulkner (Partner), Niamh Fennelly (Of Counsel) and Rosanna McAleese (Associate) from our Employment Group will present Pay Transparency: Preparing HR, a half-day online event, hosted in partnership with Legal Island.
The session will provide clear, practical guidance on what the Directive means in practice, how to assess and group roles fairly, justify pay differences objectively, and respond to employee pay information requests.
Attendees will leave with a clearer roadmap for preparing policies, processes and pay structures ahead of June 2026, helping reduce legal risk and support fair, transparent pay practices.
