Monday 20 October

As part of DIDW, the Law Society ADR Committee will present a panel discussion titled, ‘The Direction of Travel in Arbitration/Mediation/Litigation and the Economics of Dispute Resolution’. Karen Killoran, Partner in our Construction and Engineering Group, will participate in the event as a panellist.

Tuesday 21 October

On 21 October, John Donald, Head of our Restructuring and Insolvency Group will moderate a panel on ‘From Insolvency to Recovery: Making Examinership Work in Practice’. The session will consider the role of examinership as a corporate recovery tool within insolvency law, its legal framework, function in preserving viable businesses, and its place among restructuring options to balance creditor rights and facilitate recovery.

Thursday 23 October

The second iteration of the DIDW Youth Chapter will feature a panel of leading young practitioners and a forum entitled, “Lessons Learnt in 2025, Opportunities for 2026”.

As a panellist, Treasa Kelly, Senior Associate in our Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Investigations Group will offer insight on ‘the rebooted EU Product Liability Directive and representative actions: life sciences and tech in the spotlight’.
