16/06/2026 Appointments

We have announced a series of senior promotions in our Northern Ireland office, reinforcing the firm’s long-term growth strategy and continued commitment to investing in legal talent in the region.

Lois Arbuthnot, Darren Fitzsimons and Hannah Jackson from our Corporate and M&A Group, alongside Ross Carrigan from our Real Estate Group, have been promoted to Senior Associates while David Rogan has been appointed Of Counsel in our Banking and Finance Group.

These appointments reflect our ongoing investment in our people, ensuring we continue to provide expert legal advice and strategic counsel to clients across a broad range of sectors.

Both Lois Arbuthnot and Hannah Jackson began their legal careers with Arthur Cox, having joined us as trainees in 2017. Their progression to Senior Associate underscores our strong track record of nurturing and developing talent from within.

Lynsey Mallon, Managing Partner at Arthur Cox Northern Ireland, said:

“These promotions acknowledge Ross, Lois, Darren, Hannah and David’s talent and ambition. They have each made a significant contribution to the continued growth of our firm, and I am pleased to see them reach this important milestone in their careers.

At Arthur Cox, our people are one of our greatest strengths. We are committed to creating an environment in which talented lawyers can develop, progress and build long-term careers.

I would like to congratulate David, Lois, Darren, Hannah and Ross on this well-deserved recognition and wish them continued success in their new roles.”

This latest announcement comes as Arthur Cox marks 30 years in Northern Ireland. Since establishing our Belfast office in 1996, we have played a leading role in advising businesses, financial institutions, public sector organisations and investors on many of the region’s most significant transactions and projects.
