Arthur Cox is pleased to announce the appointment of three new partners at its Dublin office, further strengthening the firm’s expertise in finance and litigation & dispute resolution.

About the new partners

Brendan Wallace – Partner, Finance
Brendan becomes a partner in our Finance Department and is part of the firm’s Financial Regulatory and Capital Markets Groups. He advises a range of Irish and international clients on financial markets infrastructure, regulatory capital, trustee and agency law, securities regulation and debt capital markets matters. Brendan also regularly advises corporate and institutional clients on netting, collateral and hedging issues and capital management structures.

Imelda Shiels – Partner, Finance
Imelda becomes a partner in the Finance Department and advises both borrowers and financial institutions on a wide range of domestic and international finance transactions, including secured and unsecured lending, syndicate finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, development finance, working capital finance and debt restructuring.

Ryan Ferry – Partner, Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Ryan becomes a partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. Ryan acts for clients on complex commercial disputes across a range of areas, including financial services, contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, property disputes, corporate crime, asset tracing, and cross-border jurisdiction and enforcement.
