Sarah Faulkner, Partner in our Employment Group, is featured in the International Employment Lawyer (IEL) 2026 Tomorrow’s Leaders thought-leadership survey. The 2026 survey brings together 34 employment and labour law practitioners from five continents, each recognised for their contributions to high-profile and innovative disputes, advisory matters and transactions within their first decade of practice.

Sarah, the only Ireland‑based practitioner featured in this year’s survey, advises on a wide range of contentious and non‑contentious employment matters, including health and safety and immigration issues. In her survey responses, she shares her perspectives on absenteeism, the polarised workforce, and what is driving change in workplace power dynamics.

“Managing employee activism requires a strong understanding of the organisation’s culture, values, and risk appetite,” says Sarah. “Employers who can articulate those clearly and apply rules consistently are better placed to navigate activism without escalating conflict or legal risk.”
