We sponsored the twelfth annual Property Race Day Ireland which took place on Thursday, 11 June 2026 at the Leopardstown Pavilion. The event is the premier networking event for the property industry in Ireland and raises invaluable funds for some of Ireland’s most deserving children’s charities. Since its inception, Property Race Day has raised over €1,500,000.
This year, the funds raised supported Barretstown, Make-A-Wish and Neurodiversity Ireland, which all provide invaluable support to children and families.
In the below video, Simon Hannigan, Partner and Head of our Real Estate Group, reflects on Property Race Day and highlights its significant impact and the vital funds raised by the event for children’s charities.

The Property Race Day was founded with one simple premise which is to create the absolute number one property event in the property calendar and while doing that, where people can enjoy themselves and network together but also to do something good for children’s charities.

Property Race Day is a unique event. It’s raised over €1.5 million for children’s charities and it’s now in its 12th year.

I’m incredibly proud of being able to support the charities that we’re supporting here today. They’re incredible organisations: Make-A-Wish, Barrettstown, Neurodiversity Ireland. They’re making a real impact every day for children and families across Ireland.

Neurodiversity Ireland is completely dependent on the amazing support that it gets from fundraising like Property Race Day. We have now opened the first Neurodiversity Ireland Centre of Excellence. We were lucky enough to be selected by Property Race Day a few years ago and without that funding, we would never have been able to open our centre.

Charitable contribution goes to the core of who we are at Arthur Cox. The continued success of the Property Race Day is a testament to the hard work of the committee but also the generosity of the real estate industry.

It’s a very busy year. We don’t always get an opportunity like this to break bread, share ideas, have good fun discussions, but also at the same time make sure we can do some good along the way.
