Temple Bar Gallery + Studios hosted a special event in September in honour of Blaine O’Donnell, recipient of the Paul Robinson Studio Award 2025, and in memory of the late Paul Robinson, a much-loved member of the Arthur Cox team and former Temple Bar Gallery + Studios board member. We are proud to sponsor this award and to honour Paul’s legacy through the continued support of emerging artists.
The evening brought together artists, colleagues, members of Paul’s family and friends to celebrate Blaine’s achievements and mark Paul’s lasting contribution to the arts. The event featured reflections on Paul’s support for emerging talent and his deep engagement with contemporary art, as well as a showcase of Blaine’s sculptural practice.
Blaine’s work takes an experimental approach to the materials and debris of photography, architecture and geology, investigating the art object as a starting point for tracing networks of relationships between objects, humans and places. His experimental approach continues to evolve during his Project Studio Membership at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, supported by the award.
You can learn more about Blaine’s work by visiting his website.
