We are proud to support the Paul Robinson Studio Award, a new award aimed at providing a bursary to the recipient of a Project Studio Membership at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.

Temple Bar Gallery + Studios announced Áine O’Hara as the recipient of the Paul Robinson Studio Award 2024 at an event on 30 January.

Áine is an artist, designer and disability advocate based in Ireland. Áine’s work spans mediums and is interested in community building, accessibility and care.

Recent projects include The Rest Rooms, 2022, Kevin Barry Rooms, National Concert Hall, Dublin; The High Risk Club, 2022, Chronic Collective and A4 Sounds, Dublin; A Consideration of All Bodies, 2021, The LAB Gallery, Dublin; Personal ads to the art world, 2021, Project Arts Centre; and The patient will see you now, 2020, A4 Sounds, Dublin.

The Paul Robinson Studio Award supports emerging artists of talent and promise to develop and focus their artistic practice during their Project Studio Membership. For the next five years, the award will be made to one artist each year, with a bursary of €7,000.

Paul Robinson, a Partner and much-loved member of the Arthur Cox team for over 20 years, was a Temple Bar Gallery + Studios Board Member from 2013 to 2017. He is warmly remembered with great fondness and respect for his many contributions to the organisation, support of the artists working here, and his engaging interest in contemporary art.
