Niamh is a senior associate in our Structured Finance and Securitisation Group, focusing on securitisation, asset-backed financing and debt capital markets transactions.
Niamh advises banks, asset managers, private credit funds and corporate clients on complex securitisation, asset-backed financing, structured finance and debt capital markets transactions. She has particular expertise in digital infrastructure financings, residential and commercial mortgage-backed transactions, loan portfolio acquisitions and transactions collateralised by trade receivables, consumer loans and credit card receivables. Her experience also includes advising on the establishment and operation of Irish structured finance vehicles, risk retention arrangements and compliance with the EU Securitisation Regulation.
Prior to rejoining Arthur Cox in 2026, Niamh spent five years in London with the structured finance team of a prominent US law firm, including a secondment to a leading global alternative asset manager.

- Advising sponsors, arrangers, investors and issuers on Irish and cross-border securitisation transactions, including risk retention structures and compliance with the EU Securitisation Regulation.
- Advising private credit funds, asset managers and institutional investors on secured lending, asset-backed financing, warehouse financings and portfolio acquisition transactions.
- Advising issuers, arrangers and option holders on Irish RMBS transactions.
- Advising a global alternative investment fund manager on loan portfolio acquisitions and disposals.
- Advising a global alternative investment fund manager on its establishment of a UK originator of development loans and bridging loans (and the associated back leverage).*
- Advising a global asset manager on the establishment of a European loan origination fund and back-leverage facilities supporting loan origination strategies.*
- Advising KKR on the acquisition of NewDay’s credit card origination and servicing business.*
- Advising lenders and underwriters on a £600 million data centre securitization for Vantage Data Centers, the first ever public securitisation of data centers in EMEA.*
- Advising J.P. Morgan on private securitisations of credit card receivables and UK bridging and development loans.*
- Advising a European bank on its repack programmes.*
