Our 2026 Report reflects our continued commitment to responsible and sustainable growth, supported by initiatives across the firm including charitable partnerships, volunteering, pro bono work, environmental stewardship, responsible business practices, and equality, diversity and inclusion.
Among the key developments this year:
- Our people delivered more than 19,000 hours of pro bono legal support, equivalent to 31 hours per fee-earner
- We increased volunteering hours by almost 10% and raised almost €64,000 for our trainees’ Zambia Project
- We launched three new charity partnerships, strengthening our support for communities and charitable organisations
- We introduced carbon travel dashboards to help support our environmental commitments and inform business travel decisions
- We made significant progress on our Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and EcoVadis assessments
- We launched our refreshed 2026-2028 Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, reaffirming our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace
Our environmental programme also continued to advance during the year. Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions remained at 50% of 2019 levels, while we enhanced our emissions reporting through the inclusion of additional Scope 3 data sources to provide a more comprehensive picture of our environmental impact.
This is the sixth Sustainable Business Impact Report published by the firm and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to measuring performance against our sustainable business objectives and assessing the impact of our activities. The report also reflects the significant contribution of our people and the many external organisations and partners who work alongside us to create positive and lasting change.
