Founded by Sir William Hastings over 50 years ago, Hastings Hotels is regarded as Northern Ireland’s premier hotel group, with six luxury hotels across the region.

The Arthur Cox team was led by Lynsey Mallon, Head of Corporate and Commercial and included Alan Taylor, Alastair Todd, Colm McElroy, David Black, Maeve Williams, Chris Fullerton, David Rogan, Andrew McClurg, Lois Artbutnot and Jordan Taggart.

The resort has been acquired by Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital Partners, a real estate developer and hotel operator headquartered in Nashville, with a portfolio of more than 40 hotels within the US and the UK.

The Slieve Donard Resort and Spa will be operated by AJ Capital Partners under its Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts brand which also includes St Andrews, North Berwick and Troon, Scotland.
