Ian works in our Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Investigations Group and advises clients on all contentious matters, in particular on commercial contractual disputes, statutory and regulatory investigations.

Ian has advised and represented clients on a wide variety of disputes including in the areas of life sciences, shareholder oppression, contract law, judicial review, professional negligence and personal injuries. He has a particular expertise in investigations having represented clients in the IBRC Commission of Investigation and the Central Bank Tracker Mortgage investigation. Ian also has experience in Alterntive Dispute Resolution having advised on and participated a high-value three-week commercial arbitration and a number of mediations.
