This year the conference is going online and features interesting panel discussions and mentoring sessions with speakers from a wide range of industries, all coming together to share their career journeys and inspire other women on their own career paths.

Now in its 6th year, the conference continues to grow and last year it brought over 780 students, professionals, and UCD alumni together, to share their career experiences and to discuss the obstacles that women can face in their careers.

The panel discussions and networking sessions focus on topics such as being a leader, embracing failure, mental health, gaining equal footing and the future of work. Speakers include Hazel Chu, Lord Mayor of Dublin; Dr Niall Muldoon, Ombudsman for Children; Julie Ennis, CEO, Corporate Services UK & Ireland Sodexo; Sinead Brennan, Chief People Officer, National Treasury Management Agency; Dr Ebun Joseph, Race Relations Consultant, Lecturer & Author; Mary Quaney, CEO, Mainstream Renewable Power and, Martina Fitzgerald, CEO, Scale Ireland, Author and Journalist.

Orla O’Connor, Chair of Arthur Cox is a speaker on the Future of Work panel, which also features Partner and Head of Commercial Law Cian BeecherSimon Hannigan a Partner in Arthur Cox’s Real Estate Group and one of the firm’s two diversity and inclusion partners is a panellist on the Diversity & Inclusion: From Policy to Action Panel. Triona Ferriter, Chief People Office in Arthur Cox also joins the group career discussion in the first mentoring circle on the second day of the conference.

The event was founded by UCD graduate Eimear O’ Flynn and aims to empower attendees through networking opportunities, inspire through leadership lectures and panels, foster growth in their careers, and help break the glass ceiling that still exists in Ireland today.
