Colin specialises in the sale and purchase of companies and businesses and also advises corporate clients on a range of commercial and company law matters. He also acts for banks and corporate borrowers on general financing transactions.
Experience
Recent transactions include:
- Advising Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited in relation to the purchase of the 4Home Superstores business
- Advising the National Oil Reserves Agency on its contracts for the storage of the State’s €1.5 billion strategic oil stocks
- Acting for Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. (“AIB”) in respect of a number of its corporate borrowers
- Acting for Bresco Limited in relation to its fundraising of US$10 million, mainly from US investors
Colin also advises clients with regard to appropriate corporate structures and related issues
