Arthur Cox makes donations to selected charities on a regular basis. Input from all staff is welcomed in the selection process of which charities should be supported. A staff survey is conducted and the top ranking charities receive support. The firm also matches monies for a number of fundraising projects organised by staff and it supports clients in their charitable activities from time to time. Our current charity partners, as selected by our staff, are:
- Jack and Jill Foundation, the charity that provides home nursing care and end of life palliative care to all children up to the age of four (www.jackandjill.ie)
- Jigsaw, the charity that supports the mental health and wellbeing of over 15,000 young people across Ireland (www.jigsaw.ie)
- Peter McVerry Trust, the charity committed to reducing homelessness, the harm caused by drug misuse and social disadvantage (www.pmvtrust.ie)
In addition to this, the firm strongly supports specific education initiatives like the Early Learning Initiatives at the National College of Ireland which also offers volunteering opportunities to our staff.
Arthur Cox also supports access programmes at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and Dublin City University (DCU). It also contributes to TCD studentships, the UCD building programme and to Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT).
