Corporate Social Responsibility at Arthur Cox
At Arthur Cox, we have worked very hard on the design and implementation of our Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) policy. The CSR aspect of our practice is one of the key components of the way we do business. Our CSR policy is made up of four main pillars – pro bono work, volunteering, charitable activities and the environment. The policy is overseen and implemented by our CSR Advisory Board.
The founder of our firm, Arthur Cox, was a well-known philanthropist. From our beginnings, over 90 years ago, we have always incorporated this ethos into the running of our business.
We are pleased to announce our five charity partners that have been chosen by our staff:
- ARC Cancer Support
- Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association (IMNDA)
- Pieta House
- Temple Street Children’s Foundation
- The Irish Hospice Foundation
Over the coming year, the firm will have a number of fundraising events organised by staff. These charities will be the beneficiaries of the monies raised. The firm will also work in partnership with these charities on specific fundraising campaigns and volunteering opportunities.
