Following a consultation earlier in the year, on 8 November 2010, the Central Bank of Ireland (the “Central Bank”) issued its Corporate Governance Code for Credit Institutions and Insurance Undertakings (the “Code”) which sets out minimum statutory corporate governance requirements for Irish incorporated credit institutions and insurance undertakings.
