Consultation on Stabilisation and Support for Credit Unions, July 2010

On 23 June 2010, the Central Bank and Financial Services Authority of Ireland (the “Bank”) published Consultation Paper CP 44 (the “Consultation Paper”) on options for stabilisation arrangements in the credit union sector, outlining six potential stabilisation models. The Consultation Paper is one of a series of measures intended to modernise the regulatory regime for credit unions.
