The focus of this paper is legal aspects of businesses in transition. In addition to death and taxes, we can take it that another thing that is certain is that no two cases are identical, and the legal issues that may be relevant for a particular business will depend very much on the individual circumstances of the client, the nature of their business and their intentions in relation to disposing of it.
