Briefing - Construction Group (Notes Part 2), October 2009
22.10.2009
Parties in construction regulate their relationships through the contractual arrangements entered into. At times, they come into conflict or disagreement. Having a means by which those differences can be effectively resolved is as important as having a relationship that can work successfully to the mutual benefit of all parties. So, just as importance is placed on setting out clearly how long the project is to take and how much is to be paid before work commences, it is also important to have considered at the outset how the parties are going to resolve any disputes or differences, should they arise. At whatever stage a dispute arises, there are always alternative ways of resolving them.
