Arthur Cox confirmed as Ireland's leading M&A adviser for the Third Consecutive Year

For the third successive year Arthur Cox has been ranked at the top of the prestigious Irish law firm league tables by Mergermarket, the international M&A intelligence publisher. It received the distinction for advising on more Irish M&A transactions than any other firm, by both volume and value, in 2008.
According to the recently published final 2008 Mergermarket league tables, Arthur Cox advised on 30 Irish M&A deals with a combined value of €6.6 billion. Its nearest Irish competitors in the value tables advised on Irish deals worth a total of €2.8 billion (19 deals) and in the volume tables with 20 deals (€0.9 billion value).
This announcement rounds off a successful 2008 for Arthur Cox which also saw the firm being named European winner of ‘Mould-breaking Initiative’, the ‘Best HR Initiative’ at the Managing Partners’ Forum 2008 and the FT/Mergermarket Legal Advisor of the Year for Ireland, 2008.
