  • Advising Kaupthing Bank in relation to the debt restructuring and workout for Karen Millen, Coast Stores, Warehouse Fashions, Oasis, Principles and The Shoe Studio
  • Advising Natixis in relation to a debt and security restructuring with an Irish fund
  • Acting for Eirgrid who are raising interim funding of €150 million in connection with the construction of an interconnector between Ireland and England
  • Acted for Spotless Punch Ireland in relation to financing the acquisition of Dylon International Limited and Spotless UK Limited, where Barclays Bank plc was agent and lead lender of syndicated senior and mezzanine facilities
  • Acted for an Irish Credit Institution in relation to a €1.25 billion financing transaction
  • Acted for Allied Irish Banks, plc in connection with development facilities provided to New City Developments Limited and Joseph O' Reilly for a development at South King Street, Dublin
  • Acting for Bank of Ireland and Bank of Scotland (Ireland) Limited in connection with the provision of acquisition and working capital facilities to Premier Recruitment (International) and its subsidiaries in connection with the public bid for Imprint plc
  • Acting for Siteserv plc in connection with the financing of the acquisition of the Deborah Group in the UK
  • Acting for Edward Holdings in connection with the financing of the acquisition of Ashford Castle
  • Acted for Tetra Ireland Communications Limited in relation to facilities of €85 million provided by Bank of Ireland to develop and operate a network for the provision of nationwide digital radio services to state bodies

  • Acted for Ulster Bank in its £67million refinancing of the Norbrook Group, the most significant in terms of scale refinancing deal in Northern Ireland in 2008 comprising 23 Group companies and 30 properties
  • Acted for Ulster Bank in relation to the financing of the public to private management buy-out of Andor Technology plc
  • Acted for United Drug Group in relation to several large scale separate financing transactions with Bank of Ireland, National Irish Bank and Ulster Bank Ireland totalling 190M approximately
  • Acted for UTV plc in respect of various Bank of Ireland facilities and group debt restructuring
  • Acted for Bank of Ireland in relation to two separate large scale commercial property transactions totalling approximately £32million both involving complex borrower partnership and security structures
  • Acted for Ulster Bank in relation to the reorganisation of the Quotient Bioscience Group and its $70 million venture capital funding
  • Acted for BNP Paribas in respect of the Northern Ireland aspects of the refinancing of Kilroot power station
