Arthur Cox runs a four week summer intern programme in our Dublin Office.
In order for our interview process to be accessible to all, we facilitate successful applicants who may be studying abroad to ensure that they can participate in our interview process.
Who can apply?
All graduates and undergraduates who by June will have completed at least two years of their degree in any field of study may apply. You do not need to be a law student to apply!
What will I be doing?
The purpose of the programme is to give you a real sense of what it is like to work as a trainee and ultimately as a solicitor in a leading commercial law firm.
As an intern you will be introduced to the work of the firm and will work as an involved member of the team on projects, cases and deals. You will be challenged. Our trainees, associates and partners will give you the support you need to accomplish tasks. You will also receive mentoring to help you make decisions about your future career.
How to apply?
All applications must be made online via the below link.
Interested candidates should submit a CV and short cover letter (no longer than one page).
Interviews & Selection
From the applications we receive, our Trainee Committee makes an initial selection of candidates. The selected candidates will be invited to a group interview. We will let you know in February whether you have been included in this selection. Candidates chosen from the group interview will then be invited to a final individual interview in late February. Offers will be made shortly after that. Participation in an intern programme is not a criterion for selection for our trainee programme.
