Kathleen trained with Arthur Cox and has been a partner in the firm since 1998. She has a strong finance practice with emphasis on domestic and cross border finance transactions and financial services. Kathleen acts for a wide range of financial institutions, funds and corporates on banking and finance matters generally including asset/acquisition finance, financial/energy/developing derivative products (including ISDA and prime brokerage documentation), structured finance, financial regulation (including bank, intermediary and insurance) and film finance.
She has advised on many high profile finance transactions including the establishment of one of the first internet only banks, first-e, and the syndicated financing of the largest fishing trawler in Europe (the MFV Atlantic Dawn). Having initially trained in corporate recovery, Kathleen has a background in debt restructuring and related procedures.

- Advising United Drug plc in relation to its US$100,000,000 note issuance.
- Advising IWP International plc on its debt restructuring.
