Arthur Cox’s Construction & Engineering Group has been involved in some of Ireland’s highest profile construction disputes, both domestically and internationally. We have advised and acted in relation to many contractual adjudications both pursuant to FIDIC contracts and other international and domestic bespoke form construction contracts.
A number of our lawyers are dual qualified both in Ireland and England/Wales and have significant experience of advising clients at adjudication. With the imminent introduction of statutory adjudication into Ireland’s construction industry by way of the Construction Contracts Act, 2013 we are best placed in the Irish market to serve our clients’ adjudication needs.
Experience in Adjudication and Conciliation
We regularly advise and represent clients on contractual adjudication processes arising under bespoke forms of contracts, and standard forms of contract such as FIDIC. In conjunction with our Belfast office, we have advised and represented clients in statutory adjudications in Northern Ireland (including on paper and at oral hearings).
