Orla is a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. Orla’s practice focuses on healthcare and commercial litigation. In the healthcare area, she advises the State Claims Agency, the Mental Health Commission and the HSE on both contentious and non-contentious matters. She has represented clients at the Medical Council, the High Court/Supreme Court, in statutory and non-statutory inquiries and in relation to judicial review proceedings. She has also advised healthcare providers in relation to governance protocols. In the area of commercial litigation, she has a particular interest in shareholder disputes and professional negligence claims with experience in both the High Court and the Commercial Court. She has also advised a number of insurance companies in relation to logistics claims. Orla is an accredited CEDR mediator.
