Kevin has extensive experience in banking and finance transactions with emphasis on domestic and cross border finance transactions and financial services; Kevin acts for a wide range of financial institutions, funds and corporates advising on asset/property finance, acquisition finance, financial/energy/developing derivative products, structured finance and lending to funds, financial regulation, film finance, workouts and debt restructuring.

  • Advising Natixis in relation to a debt and security resturcturing with an Irish fund.
  • Acting for an Irish bank in relation to restructuring of the debt of and security provided by various companies connected with a large property developer.
  • Acting for a syndicate of banks led by ING Bank in relation to facilities of €700 million advanced to the Euromedic Group including its Irish subsidiaries.
  • Acting for an Irish credit institution in relation to a €1.25 billion financing transaction.
  • Acting for Canada Life Assurance (Ireland) Limited in relation to financing the acquisition of commercial property in Leeds, London, Berlin and Dusseldorf.
  • Acting for Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. in relation to development facilities advanced for a development at South King Street, Dublin.
  • Advising a multi-national corporation in relation to the Irish aspects of a debt restructuring and workout.
  • Advising Ixis Corporate and Investment Bank in relation to certain Irish banking law aspects of its merger with Caceis Bank.
  • Acting for Merrill Lynch in relation to the financing of the MBO of CNG Travel p.l.c.
  • Acting for a syndicate of banks led by ABN Amro Bank N.V. in relation to the Irish law aspects of the acquisition by IBA Health Limited of the shares of iSoft Group p.l.c.
  • Acting for Bank of Scotland (Ireland) Limited in relation to development, acquisition and working capital facilities advanced in relation to the Kildare Retail Village.
  • Acting for Anglo Irish Bank Corporation p.l.c. in relation to various facilities advanced to Veris p.l.c. and Veris UK Limited for the acquisition of the shares in various companies including Oman Transport Limited, Bond Business Support Limited, Glenrye Property Services Limited, Vector Workplace & Facility Management Limited, Premier Management Company (Dublin) Limited, Orange Support Services Limited and Orange Environmental Building Services Limited.
