Conor has extensive experience in corporate law matters, with a particular emphasis on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and corporate finance matters. He also advises on corporate governance and general commercial agreements. He regularly acts for leading Irish and international public and private companies, as well as individual shareholders, and has been involved in a number of high-profile transactions in the Irish market.

  • Advising the Irish Government on aspects of its €3.5 billion recapitalisation of Allied Irish Banks plc
  • Advising Vodafone Ireland on its acquisition of the residential and SME broadband and fixed line businesses of BT Ireland and its acquisition of Perlico Communications
  • Advising the Giorgio Armani Group on a cross-border merger by acquisition involving Dutch and Irish members of the group
  • Advising Qualcomm Inc on its acquisition of Xiam Technologies
  • Advising Glanbia plc on the sale of its Meats Division to an MBO team
  • Advising Axa Private Equity on its acquisition of Punch Industries
  • Advising Treasury Holdings on the corporate aspects of its sale of a number of property companies to Real Estate Opportunities Limited
  • Advising Iridium Concesiones/Dragados on the disposal of its interest in the M1 Dundalk Western By-pass PPP project
  • Advising Celtic Roads Group on the corporate aspects of the M1 Dundalk Western By-Pass and N25 Waterford By-Pass PPP projects
  • Advising Grafton Group plc on the acquisition of various builders merchants
  • Advising General Electric on its investment in the Tynagh power plant in Co. Galway
  • Advising Viridian Group on the acquisition of a number of windfarm projects
  • Advising Advanced Environmental Solutions (AES) on its sale to Bord na Móna
  • Advising Celtic Media Group on its acquisition of a number of regional newspaper groups in Ireland
