Caroline specialises in the tax area, leasing and international financial services. She advises domestic and international companies on tax planning, including tax aspects of acquisitions and reorganisations, and also has extensive expertise in securitisation, aircraft and equipment leasing.

Practice Areas

  • Advised the Electricity Supply Board on its recent disposal of a part of its business to Endesa
  • Advised a syndicate of five banks on the Irish aspects of a US$500 million cross-border refinancing of the debt of the ROLF Group
  • Advised on the Irish tax aspects of all the Russian LPN transactions using Irish vehicles for various Russian banks and other financial institutions
  • Advised Abbey International Finance Limited on its recent helicopter acquisitions
  • Advised Boeing on its Irish aircraft leasing business
  • Advised on the recent Bank of Ireland recapitalisation
