Aaron's practice is focused on the areas of PPP/PFI projects and project finance. He has particular experience in PPPs and projects in the education, accommodation, urban regeneration, health and roads sectors. Aaron has extensive experience acting for contracting authorities, developers, contractors, facilities maintenance providers, funders and third party equity providers on a range of projects. Aaron is the lead legal adviser to the National Development Finance Agency on the roll out of its Schools PPP Programme in Ireland. Prior to joining Arthur Cox, Aaron spent 9 years in a large Dublin law firm.

  • The National Development Finance Agency for the Schools PPP Programme (consisting of 27 schools to be procured through a number of bundles).
  • The National Development Finance Agency for the Third Level Institutions PPP Programme (consisting of 16 projects at 9 institutions of technology to be procured through a number of bundles).
  • The SuperStop Consortium, the successful bidder on the Motorway Service Areas PPP Project.
  • Health Service Executive in respect of its capital works programme.
  • Applus Car Testing Services Limited, the successful bidder on the National Car Testing services project.
  • Beacon Medical Group in respect of the Limerick Co-Location Hospital Project.
  • The GASTA (Macquarie and Global Via) Consortium in relation to the second NRA roads PPP programme.
  • The successful bidder for the Cork School of Music.
  • The successful bidder for the Fatima Mansions Urban Regeneration Project.
  • The contracting authority for the Criminal Courts Complex.
  • A bidder for the National Concert Hall Project
  • The contracting authority for the NRA PPP Roads Programme
