Arthur Cox has been named Legal Adviser of the Year Ireland at the Financial Times/mergermarket European M&A Awards. This is the sixth consecutive year that the firm has won this award.
The awards, announced in London last Thursday, recognise financial and legal advisory expertise in 15 jurisdictions in Europe, the Middle East & Africa, as well as excellence for Europe-wide corporate and private equity advisory.
This is the latest in a series of awards won by the firm this year. In October Arthur Cox was named Ireland Law Firm of the Year at The Lawyer European Awards, beating off competition from all of Ireland’s largest firms to win the prize.
Earlier this year Arthur Cox was named Ireland Law Firm of the Year by Who’s Who Legal. That award was based on the findings of an independent six-month research process that encompasses feedback from private practitioners, clients and other experts. The firm was also named Ireland Tax Firm of the Year 2012 by the International Tax Review, the fourth time Arthur Cox has won this award in the past eight years.
Commenting on the latest award, the Managing Partner of Arthur Cox, Mr Brian O’Gorman said: ‘We are delighted to have been recognised once again through the Financial Times/mergermarket awards. This and the other recent awards are a recognition of the consistently high standards applied by everyone at the firm and their continuing and extraordinary professionalism and commitment to excellence.”
The firm employs over 350 lawyers and has a total staff of approximately 650 in offices in Dublin, Belfast, London, New York and Silicon Valley. Its practice encompasses all aspects of corporate, finance and business law.
