Arthur Cox acquires Goodbody Stockbroker’s Listings Business

Strategic acquisition positions firm for further growth in the investment funds listings market

Monday 13 June: Arthur Cox has acquired the listings business of Goodbody Stockbrokers, further
bolstering Arthur Cox Listings Services Limited’s (ACLS) position in the investment funds market. The
acquisition has also added to the existing client list of ACLS.

Already the leading listing agent for debt securities for the Irish Stock Exchange for the last five
years, this move further increases ACLS’s share of the investment funds listings market as well.

“This acquisition gives us a particularly strong presence on the funds listing side”, according to
Pádraig Ó Ríordáin, Managing Partner of Arthur Cox.

Arthur Cox established a listings business in 2004 as a complement to its successful Funds and
Capital Markets practices. The firm offers a full service to its Funds and Capital Markets clients from
advising them legally on their structures and products to listing them on the Irish Stock Exchange.

Members of the Goodbody listings team are transferring to Arthur Cox, ensuring continuity of
service to funds clients.

Arthur Cox Listing Services Limited is headed up by Helen Berrill, formerly Funds Listing Executive
and Head of Specialist Debt Securities listings at the Irish Stock Exchange. “Helen’s experience both
as a regulator and as a practitioner and the experienced team already at Arthur Cox Listings Services
will be complemented by the experience being brought from Goodbodys’ Listing Division. We
believe we will now provide a service of unrivalled scope,” said Mr Ó Ríordáin.
