I previously trained in a busy top five law firm in Dublin and qualified into the Commercial Litigation and Corporate Insolvency Department. After three years post qualification experience, I decided it was time to hit the streets of New York to make use of my New York Bar qualification, and I was seconded to work for a pharmaceutical company in New Jersey for a year, where I worked in the International Law Department.
Upon returning to Ireland, I made the decision to move to Arthur Cox. I had always looked upon Arthur Cox as being one of Ireland’s leading law firms, with a wide ranging client base. I had also very positive feedback from friends who worked in the firm. I joined the commercial litigation department in March 2007. Since joining, I have had the opportunity to work on high profile commercial litigation disputes involving contractual, intellectual property and competition issues. I have also been fortunate to work with the leading litigators within their field.
The work is challenging yet satisfying and the partners, associates and trainees all work together as a team. The quality of work is exceptional.
