Expertise

Hilary specialises in banking, financial services and project finance, advising both borrowers and Irish and international financial institutions in respect of a range of finance transactions including corporate lending, project finance, syndicated financings, acquisition finance and receivables financing. Hilary has substantial experience in banking and project finance transactions including negotiating finance documentation for both lenders and borrowers, advising on the restructuring of facilities in default and enforcement options in both domestic and cross border transactions.

Experience

  • Advising Eco Wind Power Limited on the project financing of a portfolio of windfarms in Ireland
  • Advising Northern Irish subsidiaries of the Viridian Group on the project financing of their portfolio of windfarms in Northern Ireland
  • Acting for US real estate firm Kennedy Wilson in respect of certain acquisition financing transactions
  • Advising Greencore Group plc on their various financing arrangements
  • Advising the Mater Private Group on their financing arrangements
  • Extensive experience in negotiating LMA style finance documents for both borrowers and lenders, including in respect of facilities to the Origin Group, the IFG Group, the Dairygold Group, Kerry Group, Sisk Healthcare, Irish Dairy Board and Dublin Port Company.
