Summer Intern Programme
Arthur Cox runs a summer intern programme each year. Places are limited.
Who may apply?
All graduates and undergraduates who have completed at least two years of their degree in any field of study may apply.
What will I be doing?
The purpose of the programme is to give you a real sense of what it is like to work as a trainee and ultimately as a solicitor in a leading law firm in Dublin.
As an intern you will be introduced to the work of the firm and will work as an involved member of the team on projects, cases and deals. You will be challenged. Our trainees, associates and partners will give you the support you need to accomplish tasks. You will also receive mentoring to help you make decisions about your future career.
You will be invited to participate in some of Arthur Cox’s social activities such as our summer Barbeque or golf outing. You will have an opportunity to get to know people across the firm both at their desks and on the dance floor.
How to apply
Please send your curriculum vitae and a brief covering letter to Jane Babb. Applications may be sent by email (jane.babb@arthurcox.com) or by post and must be received on or before 26 March 2008.
In your CV, please be sure to specify:
- Results of Leaving Certificate or equivalent by subject and total points; and
- University results by subject, by year and overall average to date.
From the applications we receive, our Trainee Committee will select a number of candidates for interview. Those selected will be invited to interview in April 2008. Offers will be communicated shortly after these interviews.
We look forward to meeting you.
