Ken Foley – Listing Executive

After graduating I decided to join the Trustee Department of AIB Capital Markets where I dealt with guidelines on various Investment Funds. After two years in AIB, I left Dublin for Luxembourg and a career in Compliance in Investment Funds; I worked with both BBH and Bank of Bermuda. I decided to take a break and do some travelling. When this was over, I went back to work with BBH, but this time I was located in their Dublin office, where I remained for 18 months before joining Arthur Cox.
I chose Arthur Cox Listing after almost 7 years working in funds with Banks as it gave me the opportunity to work in a different financial area and for a highly reputable law firm. I was looking to move into the area of securitisation, as I knew it was an upcoming area. I knew Arthur Cox Listing was highly regarding in the market.
My role in the Listings department is very diverse; I deal with a variety of clients ranging from leading financial institutions and law firms in both Europe and the US on a daily basis. I am also involved in constant dealings and interaction with the Irish Stock Exchange trying to find solutions to various issues on complex transactions that I thoroughly enjoy.
The opportunities available at Arthur Cox are tremendous. I particularly enjoy the internal and external training provided and I have had the opportunity to partake in structure finance conferences both home and abroad that have been of great benefit to me.
Outside of work I love most sports and try to watch and play as much as I can, I also enjoy a good social life and take the opportunity to travel whenever I can; the work-life balance at Arthur Cox allows me to do that.
